H.A. “Pete” Odom, 71, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016, in Wichita Falls.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 23, 2016, at 10 a.m. in Abundant Life Center. Burial will follow at 4 p.m. in Grady Cemetery in Grady, Oklahoma, under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Pete was born Aug. 8, 1944, in Bogalusa, Louisiana, to the late John W. and Margie Mae (Dykes) Odom.  He married June Elaine Hill Oct. 18, 1963, in Ajo, Arizona.  Pete was a welder and truck driver and a member of Abundant Life Center in Graham.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine Odom of Graham; son, Darrell Odom and wife Mary of Graham; sister, Jo Dillon and husband Vincent and Nelda Odom, all of Louisiana; brothers, John Odom and wife Iris, Tom Odom and Robert Odom and wife Marilyn, all of Louisiana; grandchildren, Jonathan Odom and wife Shelly, Shaughn Odom, Eddie Neeves and wife Lydia, Joshua Dishman and wife Cheyenne, and Kayley Bynum and husband Brady; great-grandchildren, Violet, Xavier, Christian, Aryden and Brayley.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Sharon Dishman, and three infants.

Visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
