Isao Poindexter, 55, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 11, at 11 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Gooseneck Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Isao was born July 22, 1961 in Seville, Spain, to the late George Wesley and Akiyo Poindexter. He graduated from Vallivue High School in Idaho and moved to Graham in 1985 from Kansas. He was a painter for Texas Recreation Corp. Survivors include his wife, Lesslie Tetmeyer of Graham; daughters, Shilo Hardy of Graham, Bethany Valdez of Graham and Tiffany Tetmeyer of San Antonio; sons, Ethan Poindexter of Hondo and Isaac Tetmeyer of Graham; sister, Masami Stanley of West Virginia; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Marley Grace Fulmer, and brothers, Kenny and Hideo Poindexter and Katsumo Kumura. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
