James Albert Larimore, 80, died Monday, Dec. 18, 2017. He was born Nov. 4, 1937 to Bosley and Ida Mae Larimore, and reared in Newcastle, graduating from Newcastle High School in 1956. Larimore was an educator and he and his wife, Marilyn Miniard Larimore, raised three children. There will be visitation from 1-2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, prior to funeral services at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Newcastle. Pastor Michael Cyr will officiate. Burial follows in True Cemetery in Young County; directed by The Hamil Family Funeral Home in Abilene.
