James Clifford Richards passed away Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016 at his home in Graham. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at the First Baptist Church in Graham followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment with military honors will follow at Pioneer Cemetery. Richards was born July 15, 1934 in Frankston, and moved to Graham from California in 2013. He was a retired flight tester with the Boeing Corporation. He served in the Navy and was member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Patricia Richards of Graham; two daughters, Teresa Sue Michalke of Douglasville, Ga. and Linda Kay Ahrens of Williamsburg, Va.; a brother, Dan Richards of Virginia; two sisters, Elwanda Douglas of Missouri and Sharron Molloy of Bridgeport; 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
