Janice Ann “Jan” Braddock, 79, of Graham, died Sunday, July 9, 2017 in Sun City, Florida Jan was born July 5, 1938 in Graham, to the late Lonnie Claude and Melva Lee (Sullivan) Lovern. The family will be holding a private service to honor Jan and celebrate her life. Jan worked for many years in the insurance industry, and was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a talented artist, and devoted much of her time as a caregiver, including for her mother, until she passed away at age 94. Survivors include her daughters, Laurie Braddock Williams of Dallas, and Lisa Nied of Lithia, Fla.; grandson, Jon Devries of Tucson, Ariz., and granddaughters, Cara Nied of Dallas, and Christa and Allyson Nied of Lithia. She was preceded in death by her brothers Lonnie, Sully and Dale Lovern. Jan will be remembered for her strong love and devotion to her family, her sense of humor and quick wit, avid love of painting and reading, and for her special bond with her Quaker parrot, Ollie.
