Jeanette Lavay Popp 69 years old, of Bryson, went to be with our lord and savior on the morning of Aug. 15, 2019. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21 at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home in Graham. Jeanette’s battle with lung cancer has finally been won when our father gave Jeanette ultimate healing.

Jeanette was born Nov. 23, 1949 to Edith And Johnnie Stallcup and she was one of five sisters. Jeanette had a contagious humor, beautiful smile, courageous soul and she was loved by so many. Jeanette was a champion for the underdog and no battle was too big.

Jeanette is survived by two sisters JoAnn and Charles Graham of Springtown, Rita May and James Key of North Carolina, Shirley Jean and Bill Batchelder of Graham; two daughters, Kathleen Milligan Cejas and her husband Juan Cejas of Fort Worth, Rita Brandon of Arkansas; one son Eddie Lovelady of Florida.

Nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and 14 nieces and nephews. Chosen family John and Raelynda Nievar of Graham, Ernest and San Juana Jackson of Graham, Ray Francis of Grand Prairie and Larry Johnson of Bryson.

Preceding her in death was her beloved daughter Nancy DePriest of Graham, her mother Edith Sparks of Azle, her Father Johnnie Stallcup of Gun Barrell City, her sister Johnnie Hamm of Graham and her Grandparents Mr. and Mrs. T.E. Stallcup of Graham.
