Jesse Leroy Moses, 93, passed away Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016 in Greenville. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home in Graham. Graveside services will be held Thursday, Sept. 15, at 11 a.m. in Memoryland Memorial Park in Greenville under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Jesse was born May 27, 1923 in Fannin County to the late Frank and Eula (Shepherd) Moses. He married Claudia Carter on May 17, 1978 in Bonham. Jesse was a veteran of the U.S. Army’s 31st Medical Hospital Ship Platoon and served in the African Campaign during World War II. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Graham, and retired from E-Systems (L-3) in Greenville. Survivors include his wife, Claudia Moses of Greenville; sons, Jesse Don Moses and wife, Margarita of Greenville, Gary Wayne Moses of Greenville, Darrell Lynn Moses and wife, Erin of Lone Oak, and Keith Wilemon and wife, Charylcie of Denton; daughter, Robin Gann, and husband, Mike of Greenville; 20 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kaylee Moses; sisters, Bernice Jennings and Grace Bennett of Graham, Bertha Foster of Olney, Abbie Sullivan of Winters and Billie Ramsey of Fort Worth; and brothers, Erskine Moses of Fort Worth and Jay Neal Moses of Graham.
