Jim Wiley, 74, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017 in Graham, surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 12, at 2 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Jim was born April 1, 1943 in Grand Prairie, to the late Russell Frelon and Edna Mae (Needham) Wiley. He married the love of his life, Sandy Chambers Wiley, on July 27, 1962. They were blessed with two sons, Jimmy and Gary. They shared 54 wonderful years of marriage. He was employed by TU Electric for 27 years until his retirement in 1991. After his retirement, they enjoyed RVing and antiquing, traveling most often to the Texas coast and Ruidoso, New Mexico. Jim was a loving and loyal husband, father, grandfather and friend. We will miss his quiet strength, his dry humor, and the constant love he had for his family. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge, and Graham Rifle & Pistol Club. Survivors include his wife, Sandy Chambers Wiley of Graham; sons, Jimmy Wiley and wife, Donnett, of Loving and Gary Wiley and wife, Kim, of Kalispell, Mont.; grandchildren, Pete and Joshua “Pal” Wiley, both of Loving, and Miranda Wiley, of Rock Springs, Wyo.; grandson, Kris Dangle of Rock Springs, Wyo.; great-grandson, Robbie Wiley of Rock Springs, Wyo.; sisters, Lucille Cullers of Graham and Ann Carr of Newcastle; mother-in-law, Helen Chambers, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Beth Holman. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Graham.
