Jimmy Don Hyles, Sr., age 81, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020 at Graham Oaks Care Center in Graham, Texas. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Jimmy was born on Dec. 15, 1938 in Stephenville, Texas to the late David Hyles and Nana Lee (Jones) Hyles. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy. Jimmy was a long-time resident of Graham and was a mechanic in the oilfield until his retirement. He married Lou Ann Abbott on Oct. 12, 1977 in Waurika, Oklahoma. Jimmy loved to go fishing and hunting with his hounds. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Thelma Hyles, and a step-daughter, Sharon Brunson.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Lou Ann Hyles of Graham, Texas; two sons, Jimmy Hyles, Jr. and his wife Karen of Fort Worth, Texas and Chester Hyles of Jacksboro, Texas; five daughters, Elizabeth Russell and her husband John of Graham, Texas, Ursula Lewis and her husband Virgil of Bryson, Texas, Diane Swiger and her husband Clint of Graham, Texas, Pamela Washburn of Graham, Texas and Tammy Johnson and her husband Raymond of Bacliff, Texas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two step-children, Sandra Joyce and her husband Stephen of Graham, Texas and Bill Moody and his wife Debbie of Graham, Texas; as well as six step-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren.
