Karen Faye Brown passed away at her home on Nov. 17, 2021. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 22, at the McMillan Satterwhite Chapel. Interment will follow at Pioneer Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Karen was born on Jan. 14, 1953, to Clyde Smith and Merlene Thompson. She married Johnny Brown on Nov. 15, 1991, in Graham. They were members of Abundant Life Center in Graham for many years.

Survivors include Husband Johnny Brown; four sons: Jeffery David King and wife Christina, Jeremy Scott Brown, Steven Rhea Brown and wife Chloe, Jason Randall Brown, daughter Jennifer Casas and husband Ryan, two sisters; Gayle Joslin and husband Ray, Lola Gray and husband Steve, sister-in-law Carolyn Smith; as well as 18 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, by a brother Buddy Lloyd Smith, a sister Connie Clydene Horton, and by two grandchildren, Johnny Edward Brown, and Jazmyn Faye Brown.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you donate to a Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation of your choice.
