Katheriene Kay Boone, 70 years young, of Graford died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017 due to a head-on collision in Wichita Falls. The memorial service has been postponed at this time. She was born May 29, 1946 in Amarillo, to Clinton S. Blackwell Sr. and Tennie May Harris. Katheriene loved the Lord, for she walked with him daily. Her favorite passage from the bible was Ephesians 1:3-14. She will be forever loved and missed but we look forward to seeing her again. She is survived by her husband, John F. Boone; daughter Sharon Southers, husband, Craig and children, Jacob, Sasha and Ceslee, all of Azle; son, Mark McBryde of Azle; stepdaughter, Chally Porter of Haltom City; stepson, Jason Boone, wife, Tracey, and children, Sierra and Shelby, all of Fort Worth; granddaughter, Krystal Brubaker, husband, Jay, and children, Landon, Emmaline and Annalarie, all of Temple; grandson, Koltin Lancaster of Arlington; sisters, Shirley Pilgrim and husband, Werner, of Fort Worth, and Dorothy Smith and husband, Jake, of Liberty; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She as preceded in death by her mother, Tennie Mae Gothard; father, Clinton S. Blackwell Sr.; brother, Clinton S. Blackwell Jr.; sister, Dearly Tigrett and daughter, Karen Tagel-Lancaster.
