Kenneth Wayne Crouch

Kenneth Wayne Crouch, 78, passed away in Wichita Falls on Tuesday, March 24, 2020. Visitation will be Thursday, March 26, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Pioneer Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. However, due to the current COVID-19 restrictions on public gatherings the Crouch family is limited to ten or fewer people at each ceremony, so they ask for your understanding in these difficult times.

Kenneth was born on Aug. 17, 1941 in Graham to the late Edward Carlton Crouch and Gladys Irene Taylor. Kenneth worked as a produce manager at Albertson’s Supermarket. He graduated from GHS in 1958 and went on to graduate from the University of North Texas in 1964. Kenneth’s early years were in Newcastle, where his family had a grocery store. Kenneth was saved and baptized in the First Baptist Church of Newcastle, when he was 5 years old. His family moved to Graham and opened a grocery store on Third St., and later built Crouch’s Supermarket on Indiana St. Kenneth loved his family and spending time with them. He was the grandkids’ biggest fan in all of their school sports. He loved NASCAR and music. He loved to sing and had a beautiful voice.

Kenneth is survived by a daughter, Julie Achterberg and Michael of Greenville; sons, David Crouch and wife Rita of Newcastle, and Gary Crouch and wife Janice of Newcastle; the mother of his children, Barbara; grandchildren, Amy Cardwell and husband Evan, Carlton Crouch and wife Kayleigh, Kimberly Bennett, Jacob Crouch and wife Sofia, McKaelyn Sleeper and husband David, Emily Whitsell, and A.J. Kent; great grandchildren, Tristin, Peyton, Paxton, Brooklynn, Brody, Broughton, Daisy Jo, River, and Ava.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Stephen Todd Crouch, infant sister, Joann, and brother, Carlton Crouch.
