On June 28, 2020, Larry George Hodge beloved brother, father and grandfather passed away from Huntington’s and pneumonia complications at the age of 72.

Larry was born Sept. 30, 1947 in Olney, to George F. Hodge and Florene (Johnson) Hodge. He attended Graham Public Schools and South Plains Junior College. Larry pursued his love of the rodeo and was a skilled bare back rider. He also worked in the oil field and was a 711 broker for several oil companies in the 80’s.

Larry spent his later years in the care of his daughter, Lesley, in Baytown. He was a resident of St. James House, at the time of his death.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George Franklin Hodge and Florene (Johnson) Hodge.

Larry is survived by one daughter, Lesley (Hodge) White and her husband, Dwayne and two grandchildren, Kaylyn and Dylan.

Larry is also survived by sister, Judy (Hodge) Flory and husband Rick of Burkburnett, and children Brett and Shannon.
