Leta Ford Psencik, 79, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016, in Weatherford, Texas.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 24, 2016, at 2 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Finis Cemetery in Jack County under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.


Leta was born Oct. 22, 1936, in Graham to the late John Willis and Velma Maude (Shahan) Ford. She worked most of her life as a legal secretary in the oil and gas industry. Leta had lived in Whitt, Texas, the past several years.


Survivors include two sons, Gil W. Knight of Whitt and Kenneth P. Knight of Mineral Wells; sisters, Velma Jo Gowens and Barbara Eason both of Graham, and Anita Pauline Wiviz of Westville, NJ; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.


Leta was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Gentry Knight; brothers, Johnny, Robert, Jerry, Hugh and Joe Ford; and sister, Lorna Mae Hunter.


Visitation will be held Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
