Lucille Ponder, 100, of Graham, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017 in Mansfield. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 25, at 2 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Lucille was born Oct. 7, 1916 in Jermyn, to the late John Allen and Ella Louise (Winn) Molloy. She married Carroll Bud Ponder on June 1, 1934 in Archer City. He preceded her in death on March 29, 2002. Lucille was retired from the wholesale florist business and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Survivors include her daughters, Evelyn Endres of Okmulgee, Okla., Wanda Edwards and husband John of Frisco, Elizabeth Reed and husband Randy of Granbury, and Linda Worsham of Mansfield; sons, Buddy Ponder and wife Cheryl of Mansfield, and John R. Ponder and wife Denise of Vernon; son-in-law, Bill Stafford of Graham; 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lillie Stafford. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
