Marcella M. (Cernosek) Ford, 80, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017 surrounded by family in the comfort of home. A rosary was held Thursday, Oct. 5, at 6 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel and visitation will follow until 8 p.m. Funeral mass was held Friday, Oct. 6, at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial followed in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Marcella was born Jan. 16, 1937 in Megargel, to Joseph Anton and Martha Wilamina (Holub) Cernosek. She served the Graham community at Walmart for over 20 years and was a member of Graham Hospital Auxiliary, St. Mary's Altar Society, and St. Mary's Catholic Church. Survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth Cope and husband Don of Graham and Rebecca Cribbs and husband Scott of Graham; sons, Tim Ford and wife Becky of Frisco, Daniel Ford and wife Teresa of Graham, and Anthony Ford and wife Amy of Newcastle; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Marcella was a "second mother to many" and loved her pets dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Jimmy and Wesley Joe Cernosek.
