Margaret Mary (Dalton) Boldt

Margaret Mary (Dalton) Boldt, 96, went to be with our Lord, Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019 in Irving. Funeral was 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, at Morrison Funeral Home. Burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery in Graham.

Margaret was born May 6, 1923 in Palo Pinto, to the late Robert Samuel and Bertha Mae (Perry) Dalton. She was preceded in death by all eight of her brothers and sisters. She is the last of the “Dalton Gang” of her generation. Margaret grew up in Graham and married but divorced when her children were three and four years old. Being a single Mother she raised her children in Grand Prairie and was employed by Vought Aircraft which became Ling Temco Vought (LTV). She was one of the first women chief inspectors for the Navy F-8 Crusader super sonic jet aircraft. She inspected numerous aircraft throughout her career. She retired in 1981 at the age of 57 and moved back to Graham to be close to her family. Margaret was a member of First Baptist Church Graham.

Survivors include; son, Harold Boldt and wife Alexandra, of Little Rock, Ark.; daughter, Barbara Braddy and husband Terry, of Irving; grandchildren, Jimmy Henderson and wife Tisha, Gina Robinson and husband John; seven great grandchildren, Jacob and wife Sara, Hannah, Jimmy, William, Kennedy, Emily, and Jace; two great great grandchildren, Breleigh and Adelynn; also surving are numerous nieces and nephews.

We have so many cherished and wonderful memories and she will always be in our hearts.
