Matthew Joseph Herpeche

Matthew Joseph Herpeche, 55, passed away Monday, January 27, 2020. Graveside funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, in Loving Cemetery in Loving. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Matt was born May 10, 1964 in Breckenridge to the late Jean Ann Hollis Herpeche and Gaston Nathan Herpeche. He married Cynthia Holman, Sept. 21, 1986. Matt worked most of his life in the oilfield as a truck driver and diesel mechanic. His greatest joy and accomplishment are his family and friends. He would do anything for them, he will be missed by many.

Survivors include; wife, Cynthia Herpeche of Granbury; son, John Herpeche and wife Casey of Granbury; daughters, Tiffany Berger and husband Les of Granbury and Leslie Evans and husband Blake of Celeste; eight grandchildren, John Jr., Deborah and Grace Herpeche of Granbury, James and Ella Berger of Granbury, Erin and Benjamin Evans of Celeste, and Lily Parker of Graham; brothers, Gaston Herpeche, Brad Herpeche and Anthony Herpeche and wife Judy all of Graham; sisters, Dorothy Hamm and husband Curtis of Graham, Nancy Sanders of Paris, TX., Valeria Patterson and husband Steve of Mineral Wells, Debbie Candler and husband David of Dayton, Ohio, Sarah Brathole and husband Michael of Bryson; mother-in-law, Pat Parker of Graham; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Matthew was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Nathan Leon Herpeche.
