Melissa Dianne Crutchley was born Feb. 20, 1968, in Glen Dale, W. Va., to Gary Grant and Betty Sue Hartzell Ernest. She died Wednesday, April 5, 2017, in Tulsa, Okla., at the age of 49 years. Melissa completed her secondary education in Breckenridge, and graduated with the Breckenridge High School class of 1986. She continued her education through Executive Secretarial School in Dallas. Melissa was married Feb. 24, 1990, in Breckenridge, to Keven Jay Crutchley. She had worked with State Farm Insurance Company and later with First Bank of Owasso, but her primary focus was her family. She was a longtime faithful member of the Anglican Church of St. Paul in Owasso, Oklahoma. She was active during her sons’ time in the Owasso High School Band and served with the Owasso Band Patrons. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes such as cross stitching and she was the family home bookkeeper. Those she leaves behind who hold cherished memories include: her husband, Keven, and two sons, Gary and Gabriel, all of the home; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Sokie Ernest, of Richardson; and father, Gary Ernest, of Owasso. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Sue Ernest Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April, 9, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service were held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 10, at the Anglican Church of St. Paul/Mowery Chapel, with Father Chris Waters officiating. Serving as casket bearers were Tim Hartzell, Rob Stevens, Lonnie Terrell, Danny Hill, Doug Ernest and Mike Ernest. Committal service and interment followed at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Melissa’s memory to the Anglican Church of St. Paul, P.O.
