Melvin Lynn Burt passed away Dec. 4, 2017 in Fort Worth. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, at the Cowboy Gatherin'. The Cowboy Gatherin' is located approximately 8 miles south of Graham on FM 1287 (Bunger Road).  Melvin was born May 27, 1956 in Graham, to J.W. “Bill” and Virginia Pierce Burt. He was preceded in death by both parents and our eldest sister, Donna Burt Foster. He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Burt of Fort Worth, and brother, Morris Burt of Graham; six nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and nephews and several aunts and uncles and cousins.
