Mildred Marie Stigge Peitz went to be with her Lord and Savior on the 25th of August 2021.

She was born Feb. 27, 1928, in Barnes, KS, to the late Edward and Ida Stigge. Three days after birth, she was baptized in the farmhouse by the late Rev. Louis Temme.

Funeral services will be held at Faith Lutheran Church with burial in Pioneer Cemetery Sept. 1, 2021, at 10 a.m. She attended St. Peter’s Parochial school. She was confirmed April 6, 1941, by Rev. L. Temme.

She married her beloved husband, Rueben Peitz Nov. 7, 1947 in Trinity Lutheran Church in Pueblo, CO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, nine brothers and seven sisters.

Survivors include her loving husband of 74 years. Her son Daryl Peitz, of Rigby, Idaho. Two daughters Dara Domantay of Barberton, OH. Lanette and husband Joel Williams of Graham, TX. Ten grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She loved caring for foster children, working with girl scouts, sewing, donating time for the Heart association and traveling.
