Noma Jo Glazner

Thu, 05/23/2019 - 3:49 pm

Noma Jo Glazner died peacefully May 18, 2019 with family by her side. She was born May 5, 1929 in South Bend, to George Holland Warren and Mabel Wilcox Warren joining beloved big brother George “Junior” and big sister Juanita Joyce. Noma married her true love Neal Wesley Glazner, Jr. on Sept. 10, 1955, and raised daughter Cecelia and son Joe with Neal.

Noma loved being outdoors fishing for anything that swam but especially for trout, hunting and camping with her family. She was an avid sports fan especially of her Dodgers and any sports her kids or grandkids participated in. She loved to travel to Arizona for Dodger spring training with daughter Cecelia and to Las Vegas with sister Juanita, Cecelia and nieces JoJoyce and Jean. She especially loved taking her two grandsons Neal Wesley and Joseph Benjamin on adventures during their summer vacations.

Noma loved her family and was extremely proud to be part of the Warren and Wilcox clan. She had a special place in the hearts of her cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Her grandsons Neal and Joseph were the pride of her life and the birth of her great grandson Greyson Wesley Glazner to Neal and Baleigh brought her the utmost joy.

Noma Jo will be greatly missed and will be remembered with the same joy she expressed being around all of us.

McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
