Peggy C. Stephens, 77, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 in Fort Worth. A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at Cowboy Church of Young County. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Peggy was born June 5, 1940 in Littlefield, to the late Jim and Cleo Pickrell. She married Ronnie C. Stephens, June 29, 1958 in Abernathy. Peggy moved to Graham in 1978 from South Carolina after serving with her husband for 21 years in the Air Force. She was a former officer at First National Bank Graham, a member of Cowboy Church of Young County, and a Black Friday Diva. Survivors include her husband, Ronnie C. Stephens of Graham; daughters, Rhonda Clark and husband Jimmy of Breckenridge, and Amy Bradley and husband Greg of Temple; son, Ricky Stephens and wife Becky of Graham; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim Bob Pickrell and wife Pamala of Granbury, and Charles Pickrell and wife Nancy of Kennedale; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Peggy was preceded in death by her sister, Patsy Barron and her husband Lawrence, and her brother, James Pickrell. The family asks that memorials be made to St. Jude’s Hospital or your favorite charity. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.
