Phillip Dean Maples, 67, passed away Friday, Jan. 31, 2020 in Jacksboro.  Funeral was scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Loving Cemetery in Loving. Arrangements were under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Phillip was born Jan. 12, 1953 in Graham to the late Jacquline Prater Maples and James Lafeyette Maples. Phillip was retired working in the oilfield most of his life.  He had a passion for music and dearly loved his grandchildren.

Survivors include; sons, Corey Maples of McKinney, David Maples of Fort Worth, and Matthew Maples of Graham; grandchildren, Aubyrn Jade, Cassidy Jewell, Gabriel, Zaryn, Corrigan, and Azlyn Maples; several geat grandchildren; sister, Christi Kirkland and husband Archie of Graham; brothers, Stan Maples and wife Petey of Arlington and Mark Maples and fiance Katie of Jacksboro; several nieces and nephews also survive.
