Reba Gittings, 89, of Burleson, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022 in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held at Morrison Funeral Home in Graham at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022 with interment to follow at Pioneer Cemetery, Graham with Pastor Dawayne Barnett of Graham Church of God officiating.

Reba was born on Christmas Eve 1932 in Wichita Falls to Robert and Madeline King. She married Paul Gittings on May 15, 1949 in Henrietta. They lived in Grandfield, Okla. for 20 years where they farmed and ranched. Reba was a hairstylist and owned her own salon. After a job transfer for Paul, they made their home in Graham where Reba was an avid gardener, working in the yard and planting flowers which she loved. She also enjoyed crafts, cooking, and baking. Reba was a devoted wife and mother. After the death of her husband Reba left her home of nearly 50 years to move to Elk Creek Assisted Living in Burleson in 2018. While there she made numerous friends and enjoyed activities including Skip Bo and bingo especially with her friend, Aileen.

Reba is survived by sons, Mark Gittings of Austin, Todd Gittings and wife Ashlie of Fort Worth, Britt Gittings and wife Leah of Boyd, daughter Gail Glasgow and husband Mark of Freeport, Fla. Grandchildren, Brian Gittings, Graham Glasgow, Paige Gittings Arrington, Peyton Gittings, Makinley Gittings, Madison Gittings, Brett McBroom, Megan McBroom, great granddaughter Iris Kohne, brother Pat King of Wichita Falls.

Reba is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Madeline King, husband Paul Gittings, son Larry Gittings of Weatherford, Okla., grandsons Paul A. Gittings of Duncan, Okla. and Zachary Glasgow of Floyds Knobs, Ind. As well as brothers Ray, Bobby, Terry King, sisters Josephine King Byrom, Johnnie Mae King Pinson and Frances King Logan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Reba’s name to First Presbyterian Church, Graham. Special thanks to the staff of Elk Creek Senior Living and Heart to Heart Hospice for the extraordinary care given.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Morrison Funeral Home, Graham.
