Rhonda Jean (Walker) Rogers

Rhonda Jean (Walker) Rogers, age 73, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed from our world on July 25, 2022.

She was born and raised in Graham on March 18, 1949. From 1983-1991, she lived in San Angelo where she was employed by Tom Green Adult Probation and Reece Albert, Inc. She was a member of Park Heights Baptist Church in San Angelo. After returning to Graham, Rhonda worked as a life skills trainer for Abilene State School Training Center and for Aramark, as an Administrative Assistant for Graham ISD Food Service Department. Since 2006, she worked for Swan Management, Inc. as a Site and Training Manager for Lone Oak Apartments until her retirement in 2021.

Rhonda was a fun-loving mother and is survived by her two sons, Bradley Allen Herring and wife Jennifer, of San Antonio and Thomas Jerod Rogers and wife Katie of Wichita Falls; grandchildren, Austin, Hannah, and Kealey Herring; and brother Leon Walker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arb and Jean Walker Kennedy; two brothers, Dean and Frankie Walker; sister, Pat Jobe and husband Don Jobe; paternal grandparents, C.T. and Harriet Walker, and maternal grandparents, B.D. “Bird Dog” Roberts and Bertha Roberts Pemberton, all of Graham.

She will be remembered for her off-the-wall humor, contagious laugh, tenacity, and big heart!

A memorial service for family and friends will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13, at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel at 700 Oak St. in Graham.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Meals on Wheels (Graham Senior Citizen Center).
