Roger McClanahan, 97, passed away Friday, Feb. 16, 2018 in Graham. Funeral is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19, in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial follows in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Roger was born Jan. 31, 1921 in Graham, to the late William Robert and Ola Sue (Rogers) McClanahan. He was a veteran of the Army, serving in World War II. Roger married Pattie Miller, Oct. 28, 1949 in Graham. He was a retired employee of Hexcel Corp. and a member of Tonk Valley Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Pattie McClanahan of Graham; son, Lynn McClanahan and wife, Martha, of Graham; daughter, Janet Shea and husband, Richard, of Mineral Wells; four grandchildren, Jessica McClanahan, Melissa Floyd and husband, Wade, Lindsay Jones, and Stacy Robinson and husband, Todd; five great-grandchildren, Bryce and Dylan Jones, Matilyn and Wyatt Floyd, and Jax Robinson; brothers, Bob McClanahan of Graham and Howard McClanahan of Midland; sister, Billie Jo Mosley of Austin; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Roger was preceded in death by his brothers, Leonard McClanahan, J.W. McClanahan, John McClanahan and Durwood McClanahan, and a sister, Mary Botkin.
