Rose Nell Chestnut, 78, of Graham passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016. Funeral services were scheduled for Friday, May 27, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Finis Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Rose was born Oct. 26, 1937, in Dalhart, Texas, to the late Cecil L. and Lola Pearl (Hoefligger) Jones, Sr.

Rose was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Lola Jane Andrews and husband Jim of Graham, Jo Nell Matlock and husband Carl of Markley;  brothers, Cecil L. Jones, Jr. of Ruidoso, New Mexico, Terry Wayne Jones and wife Lou of Houston; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

 Rose was preceded in death by two sons, Mitchell Lee Chestnut in 1955, and Anderson “Andy” Kells Chestnut in 1989.

 Visitation was from 1 p.m. until service time on Friday, May 27, 2016, at the Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.
