Ruby Marie Hazelton, 88, passed away Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017 in Graham. Memorial services will be held Saturday, Dec. 9, at 11 a.m. in Morningside Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Ruby was born Oct. 5, 1929 in Amarillo, to the late Marshall Lee and Mabel Garnet (Ramsey) Carter. She married Wayne Hazelton Nov. 11, 1944 and he preceded her in death April 28, 2014. Ruby was a homemaker and a charter member of Morningside Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Jeannie Byars of Graham; sons, Joe Hazelton of Graham and Johnny Hazelton and wife, Carol of Graham; sister, Patsy Boyle of Graham; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Jay Hazelton. Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
