Shannon Mae Warner Smith, 46, passed away Friday, Aug. 4, 2017 in Graham. A tribute in Shannon's honor was held in Joplin, Mo., on Friday, Aug. 11, from 7 to 10 p.m. at The Bypass. Shannon was born in Fort Worth on Aug. 11, 1970, to the late Cecil Warner and Shirley Birdwell Warner. Survivors include her daughters, Haley Smith of Centerton, Ark., and Chelsey Patch of Joplin Mo.; sisters, Stacy Whiteley and husband, Kenneth, of Graham, Sheila Meyers and husband, Larry, of Diamond, Mo., and April Keeling and husband, Dalton, of Centerville; three grandchildren, Lillian Smith, Legend Rapp and Edythe Jenkins; four nephews, two nieces and one great-niece. Shannon was preceded in death by her sister, Stephanie Warner Wood. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
