Stephen Wayne Winder passed away on June 27, 2021. He was 39. Services were held on July 2, 2021.

Stephen was born Oct. 19, 1981, in Graham to Michael Louis Winder and Joyce Marie Pettyjohn. He was a lifelong resident of Graham and worked as Lead Mechanic at Star Tire and Automotive. He loved his children and family more than anything in the world. His family often referred to him as “Evil KStephel” He will be dearly missed by all.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Latrisha Winder, father Mike Winder and wife Alice, three brothers: Mike Winder and wife Tammy, Rafael Winder, and wife Samantha, and John Sanchez. Two sons, Stephen Tyler Winder and Christopher Palmer, and three daughters; Lily Winder, Emma Winder, and Joyce Winder. As well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Marie Hicks, in 2006.
