Steve Moore, 64, of Possum Kingdom Lake, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017. A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 8, at Eastside Church of Christ. Steve was born April 27, 1953 in Houston, to the late Grover Sherman Moore and Sarah Marie (Coffey) Moore. He married Sharon May, 23, 1975 in Houston. He was the owner of Steve Moore Construction and a member of the Lions Club, a former scoutmaster, member of NRA, and a member of Eastside Church of Christ, where he served as a deacon. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Moore of Possum Kingdom Lake; daughters, Leah Ellis and husband, Colin, of Los Fresnos and Jana Moore of Austin; two grandchildren, Evelyn and Finn Ellis; brothers, Grover Moore of Houston and Dan Moore of Hermleigh. Steve was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Dockstader.
