Thomas Henry ‘Tom’ Cain

Thomas Henry “Tom” Cain passed away Aug. 1, 2017 at his home in Graham. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at the First Presbyterian Church in Graham, where he was an elder and a longtime member. McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Tom was born June 9, 1943 in Fullerton, California. He played football and graduated from Eastern New Mexico University and moved to Graham in 1974 to become the athletic director and head football coach at Graham High School. Survivors include his wife, Linda Cain; mother, Katie Cain; brothers, Jerry Cain and wife, Linda, and Wili Cain; four children, Marla Lee and husband, Herbie, Shane Cain and wife, Cyndi, Jennifer Pierce and Stephen Cain; niece, Amy Morrison; grandchildren, Nick Ragan, KCee Henderson, Aiden Vetter, Tiffany Lee, Brandon Lee, Cameron Morrison and Kenadie Morrison. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Doyle Cain, and two daughters, Sherry Casey and Debbie Barnes.
