Thomas Leroy Higgins, 70, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016, in Bryson.  Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 7, 2016, at 4 p.m. in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. 

Thomas was born March 29, 1946, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to the late Frank Leroy and Edna Jo (Broughton) Higgins. He married Beatrice Pearl Lee Goodman May 19, 2002, in Graham. Thomas was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving in Vietnam. He worked for Franklin Pilot Service in Eldridge and was a member of Brazos Valley Baptist Church in Graham.

Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Pearl Higgins of Bryson; daughter, Ruthie Thomas and husband Bill of Graham; sons, Louis Goodman of Pampa, Lonnie Goodman, Tom Goodman and James Goodman and wife Mary Ann, all of Bryson; sisters, Cynthia Mathis and husband Terry of Mabank and Jolene Higgins of Washington; brothers, Fred Higgins of Garland and Frank Higgins of Dallas; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
