Tommie Helen (Simpson) Shifflett, 79, of Graham, Texas, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at the Pioneer Cemetery Gazebo with  Dick Stovall officiating. McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Tommie was born Nov. 11, 1936, and lived in Graham most of her life.  She was a retired hair dresser and a loving wife and mother.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Edgar “Sonny” Shifflett; her son, Doyle Shifflett; her daughters, Susie Shifflett, Sherri Norman and husband Billy; four grandchildren, Mark  Bailey, April Daily and husband Kelly, Janice Abraham and husband Mark, Richard Brannies; six great-grandchildren, Lauren, Joseph and Bryce Daily, Cross Bailey, Reagan Stastny, and Carson Abraham; other relatives; and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Daisy Simpson; her brother, Danny Simpson; and her five sisters: Jeanie McArthur, Martha Jo Terrell, Margie Shelton, Billie Whitson, and Oleta Lunden.
