Tue, 11/26/2019 - 4:21 pm

Vivian Claudine (Spurlin) Hall went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, Nov. 11, 2019 at 2:25 p.m.

Claudine was born in Haskell, to Claude and Oree (Pirkle) Spurlin on June 1, 1933. She had two siblings, brother Bill Spurlin (deceased) and sister Mary Loveless of Wichita Falls.

She married the love of her life, Dick Casey Hall, and they were married for 49 years before his passing in March of 1998. Together, Dick and Claudine had two children: daughter, Norma Steadham and son, Casey Hall.

Claudine (“Grams”) is survived by her children, Norma and Casey, and three grandchildren: Cassie Minter and husband Marc, Corey Steadham and wife April, and Chad Steadham and wife Zana. She also had nine great-grandchildren: Cobey, 23; Blake, 22; Keaira, 17; Micah, 12; Jaxon, 10; Brooke, 10; Camden, 6; Kate, 6; and Malachi, 3.

Claudine was precious to her family, and she was well known in her community as a giving, caring, and self-sacrificing woman. She was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church in Graham and a consistent volunteer at Graham General Hospital. She was absolutely lovely and a pleasure to know. Her bright blue eyes lit up every room she entered, and her smile was the sweetest, most genuine, and most comforting sight to those who loved her. She loved her family immensely, served her church and community faithfully, and lived her life honorably.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Red Top Cemetery Dec. 7, at 2 p.m.
