Walter Wayne Singleton Sr.

Walter Wayne Singleton Sr., 77, passed away at his home in Graham on June 20, 2022. Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25, at Morningside Baptist Church under the direction of McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the Morningside Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

Mr. Singleton was born in Graham on Oct. 25, 1944, to the late Walter and Laura Singleton. He worked in the oilfield for most of his life. Wayne deeply loved his family, sports, and his dog Max. He never met a stranger. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, and traveling in his RV. He will be dearly missed by family, friends, and church members at Morningside Baptist.

He is survived by his wife Paula Singleton of Graham, three sons: Dub Singleton and wife Tammy of Grapevine, Phillip Bowman and wife Kristin of Georgia, Jonathan Bowman and wife Lisa of Morton. Two daughters; Mona Reis of Burkburnett, and Sharon Jameson and husband Larry of Amarillo. One brother; Emmett Singleton and wife Carolyn of Cordell, Okla., and a sister, Susan Hawkins of Graham. Seventeen grandchildren: Jarrett and Taylor Jameson, Ashleigh Jameson, Garrett Dorman, Meghan Wyatt, Katie Adcock, MacKenzie Taylor, Tacy Reis, Weylin, Zackary, Jacob, Madalin, and Mollie Singleton, Mason Nantz, Lacey and Jonathan Song, Logan, and JayLee Bowman, Summer and Bobby Bowman. Four great grandchildren; Lux Maree, Lara Fayth, Luke “Boy” and Brixon Graham. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, by his first wife Marie Singleton, a brother-in-law Dennis Hawkins, and a son-in-law, Tony Reis.

In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch or Cook’s Children’s Hospital.
