Wesley Steven King, 69, of Coleman, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on Dec.11, 2021. He was at his daughter’s house in Graham at the time. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021, at 2 p.m. in the McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, 6-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Steve was born Jan. 16, 1952, in Graham to Elbert William King and Mary Frances Farmer King. He spent most of his life in Young County. He married Guilda Orene Reynolds on Oct. 24, 1970, in Newcastle, Texas. Steve worked in the oilfield for most of his life. Soon after accepting Christ as his Savior, Steve surrendered to the Ministry, and has preached and pastored since. At the time of his death, Steve was pastoring Bible Baptist Church of Coleman, Texas. While pastoring Steve attended Bible College, ultimately achieving a Doctorate of Divinity. Steve will be dearly missed by his family, Church family, and friends.

He is survived by his wife Guilda of Coleman, one son Bill King and wife Amanda of Graham, one daughter Brandie Gardner and husband Jesse of Graham, three brothers: David King of Graham, Kent King and wife Debbie of Newcastle, Dennis King and wife Linda of Bryson. One sister, Karen Short and husband Jerry of Newcastle, stepsister Tia Meeks and husband Rayburn of Graham, two stepbrothers: Roger Krick and wife Tisha of Lubbock, and Danny Krick of Lubbock. Eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Robert King, sister-in-law Teresa King, Stepfather Roger Krick, Stepbrothers Timmy and Corey Ford, and grandson Andrew Gardner.
