Peggy Jo Lunsford West

Peggy Jo Lunsford West, 83, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017 in Loving. Funeral services will be Monday, May 15, at 10 a.m. in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Burial will follow in Loving Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Peggy was born May 16, 1933 in Archer County to the late Andrew Newton and Bessie Beatrice (Robinson) Lunsford. She married Charles Edward West Dec. 31, 1970 in Wichita Falls. Peggy retired from Graham Magnetics and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Christal Lee Schrouder

Christal Lee Schrouder, 90, passed away Monday May 8, 2017 in Granbury. A graveside funeral was Friday, May 12, at 11 a.m. in Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Christal was born July 3, 1926 in Wewoka, Okla., to the late Lloyd Edward O’Kelly and Della Mae (Ridens) O’Kelly.

Lychelle Marie Doolittle

Lychelle Marie Doolittle, 49, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 10, 2017. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 13, at 2 p.m. at True Life Church in Graham. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Lychelle was born June 23, 1967 in Dallas. She married Robert Doolittle on Aug. 31, 2012 in Modesto, California.

Ernest Clifford ‘E.C.’ Brock Jr.

Ernest Clifford “E.C.” Brock Jr., 73, of Tolar (Justin) passed away Monday, May 8, 2017. E.C. left a legacy of love for all who knew him. He spent his early years building metal buildings, playing semipro volleyball and fast pitch softball. He coached Little League baseball and girls’ softball. He taught school for 25 years at Northwest ISD. E.C. was a member of North Texas High School Rodeo Association for 40-plus years. He picked up broncs for over 35 years, hauled bulldogging horses and hazed for hundreds of up and coming rodeo stars.

Billy Thomas Woods

Billy Thomas Woods, 63, of Olney, died Oct. 9, 2016 at Grace Care Center of Olney. A graveside memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 16 at 11 a.m. at Newcastle Cemetery. Billy was born July 25, 1953 in Wichita Falls, the son of Archie D. Woods and Mildred Lee Woods. He was an oil field worker and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a free spirit and fully enjoyed life. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Linda. He is survived by his sons, Chris Masten, of Connecticut and Billy T.

Steve Moore

Steve Moore, 64, of Possum Kingdom Lake, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017. A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 8, at Eastside Church of Christ. Steve was born April 27, 1953 in Houston, to the late Grover Sherman Moore and Sarah Marie (Coffey) Moore. He married Sharon May, 23, 1975 in Houston.

Isao Poindexter

Isao Poindexter, 55, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 11, at 11 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Gooseneck Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Isao was born July 22, 1961 in Seville, Spain, to the late George Wesley and Akiyo Poindexter. He graduated from Vallivue High School in Idaho and moved to Graham in 1985 from Kansas.

Tom Morgan

Tom Morgan, 86, passed away Monday, May 8, 2017 in Graham. Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 10, at 11 a.m. in Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Tom was born Feb. 26, 1931 in Baird. He married Laverne Manley May 17, 1991, in Graham.

Harrison Irwin Brown

Harrison Irwin Brown passed away on May 1, 2017 in Austin, on the campus of The University of Texas. He was 19.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 6, at 1 p.m. at the Graham High School Basketball Gym, officiated by the Rev. Msgr. Raymund Mullan of Mansfield, formerly of Graham and assisted by the Rev. Eugene Nyong of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Graham. Born on Sept. 17, 1997 in Wichita Falls, to Kurt and Lori Brown, he who for a little more than 19 years lived and labored among us is gone.
