Otis Dwayne Senkel

(Otis) Dwayne Senkel, 69, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022, at his home in Clay County, surrounded by family.

A memorial service was held Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home Chapel, 1917 Archer City Highway, Wichita Falls, Texas. The family asked those to bring and share their memories of Dwayne with his family and friends.

Bonnie Fay Loftis

Bonnie Fay Loftis went to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 24, 2022, in Graham. Funeral Services will be held Friday, Jan. 28, at 10:30 a.m. at the McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Pioneer Cemetery.

Bonnie was born on July 12, 1938, in Sweetwater to the late Barnum Ray and Mary Rhodes Novian. She married Eugene “Gene” Loftis on March 23, 1955, in Loving, New Mexico. She worked as a caregiver for most of her life. She attended Eastside Church of Christ for many years. Bonnie will be dearly missed by all.

June Richie

June Richie was born in Breckenridge, Texas, on April 2, 1927, to parents Ona and Boyd Robinson. She died on Jan. 16, 2022, at the age of 94.

June was lovingly known to family and friends as “June Honey”.

She and Gene Richie were married 33 years prior to his death. Together they raised three children and had interesting and sometimes hilarious adventures.

Bill Brightman

Bill Brightman, 75, passed away Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022, at his home in Graham with his wife, Roma, and daughter, Judy, by his side. A funeral was held Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022, at Bethel Baptist Church. Burial followed at Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Cecil Lee Birdwell

Cecil Lee Birdwell, 86, passed away in peace Sunday Jan. 16, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family and friends. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022, at First Baptist Church Graham. Burial will follow in Red Top Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Sterman M. Young

If God needs a “42” partner, a fishing buddy or a good storyteller, he got one on Jan. 19, 2022, in Sterman M. Young.

A veteran of World War II and a long-time West Texas oilman, Sterman was born June 9, 1921, in Jean, Texas, fourth child of V.W. and Nettie (Cox) Young. He celebrated a milestone 100th birthday last June.

He is preceded in death by both parents, sisters Myrtie Jean Smith, Anita Marley, Jolene Enright, and brother Dewey Young. Also, grandson Brent Bolin and son-in-law Pete Daniel.

Donald Patrick Blair

Donald Patrick Blair, 58, of Mineral Wells passed away on Dec. 12, 2021. He valued his family, deeply loved his wife, Marily who was everything to him. Don was so proud of his kids and grandkids, and he would do anything, humanly possible for them. He was a good listener, made everyone feel comfortable enough to open up to him, and supported you no matter your social status, right or wrong doings. Don was the MOST NON judgmental person you could ever know.
