Joey Parker

Joey Parker, 61, passed away Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017 in Graham. A memorial service will be held Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Graham. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Joey was born Jan. 8, 1956 in Fort Worth, to Shirley Hodges and the late Joseph Edward Parker II. Joey was preceded in death by his father Frank Hodges, who raised him. Joey graduated from Graham High School and attended Cisco Junior College.

Kensy Parker

Kensy Parker, 27, passed away Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017 in Graham. A memorial service will be held Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church Graham. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Kensy was born July 20, 1989 in Graham, to Joey Parker and the late Tammy Davidson. He graduated from Graham High School and attended Austin Community College.

Benny R. Stapp

Benny R. Stapp, 81, of Greenville passed away Jan. 25, 2017 at Briarcliff Health Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at Highland Terrace Baptist Church under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Royce Litchfield and Rev. Larry Jordan will officiate. Interment will follow at Wieland Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the church until service time. Born Jan. 2, 1936 in Iowa Park, Benny was the son of Hugh Clifton Stapp and Nina (Musgrave) Stapp. On Dec. 23, 1956, he married Rolene Barnett in Graham.

Bunnye Baldwin

Bunnye Baldwin, 72, of Friendswood, passed away peacefully at her home Monday, Jan. 9, 2017, after a years-long battle with COPD and cancer. She is survived by her husband, Roland Chris Baldwin; daughters, Crystye and Karrye, and son-in-law Ty; sisters. Connye Hamlin and Tommye Lyles; and older brother Dayne Miller. Bunnye was born in Graham on Feb. 10, 1944. She was the daughter of Vennie Brannon and Tom Miller. Bunnye attended the University of Texas in Austin, where she met her husband, and moved with him to the Houston area in order to be close to his work with IBM and NASA.

Sophia Jean Mathis

Sophia Jean Mathis passed away Jan. 23, 2017, at her home near Graham. A graveside service will be held at noon Friday, Jan.27, at the Newcastle Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home. Sophia was born July 5, 1953 in Brownsville, Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Ladies of 798 and was a member of the Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Mike Mathis of Graham; mother, Emily Olesh of Asheville, N.C.; brother, William Connors of Sarasota, Fla.; sister, Lois Brank of Asheville, N.C.

Jerry Ann Mitchell Noah

Jerry Ann Mitchell Noah, 81, of Graham, passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 25, at 10 a.m. in Eastside Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Jerry Ann was born Jan. 9, 1936 in Ida, La., to the late Eldridge Eugene and Thelma Marvin (Wilson) Dauphin. She married James Henry "Jim" Mitchell on Sept. 1, 1954 in Odessa and he preceded her in death on Dec. 16, 1984. She later married Neal Noah and he preceded her in death in 2009.

Bobby Lane ‘Bosco’ Hamilton

Bobby Lane “Bosco” Hamilton passed away Jan. 21, 2017 in Wichita Falls. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, at the Oasis of Grace Church in Graham. McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home is charge of arrangements. Bosco was born Jan. 22, 1953 in Vernon, and lived in Graham most of his life. He was a Young County Constable for several years and was co-owner of Hamilton Custom Service in Graham. He also worked for Renzenberger in several different states.

Clifford Elmer Green

Clifford Elmer Green, 78, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017. Memorial services will be held Sunday, Jan. 29, at 2 p.m. at the Cowboy Church Gathering in Graham. Clifford was born July 6, 1938 in Haskell, to the late Leonard and Frances Green.

Eunice Lingnau Bodling

Eunice Lingnau Bodling, 83 of Graham, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, in Wichita Falls. Services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, with Rev. Keith Kubitz officiating. Interment will be held at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Eunice was born Saturday, April 29, 1933 in Vernon; she was the daughter of the late Arthur Lingnau and the late Anna Schwarz Lingnau. She married Theodor "Ted" Bodling on Aug. 16, 1953 in Vernon. He preceded her in death May 3, 2002. She moved back to Vernon in 1953 from Paducah.

Louis Glen Armstrong

Louis Glen Armstrong, 89, of Hurst, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, Jan. 20, 2017, after a brief struggle with pneumonia. Funeral services will be held Tuesday Jan. 24, at 1:30 p.m. at Life Fellowship Church in Hurst, with Pastor Darryl Crawford and Rev. Gale Burnett officiating. Interment will take place at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington. Visitation will be held Monday, Jan. 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Forest Ridge Funeral Home in Hurst, Louis was born in Quinlan on Dec. 15, 1927, the son of P.J. and Willie Carpenter Armstrong, both deceased.
