Gary Lynn Massey

Gary Lynn Massey, formerly of Wichita Falls and Graham, passed away in Ocala, Florida, on Oct. 16, 2021. He was born Dec. 12, 1946, to J.W. (Jake) and Lavana (Jones) Massey in Wichita Falls.

A graveside service for Gary will be held Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Memorial Park, 1917 Archer City Highway, Wichita Falls.

Valerie Elaine Bell

Valerie Elaine Bell, 43, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021, in Graham. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, at 1 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Newcastle under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Valerie was born Aug. 13, 1978, in Canyon, Texas, to Sherri and Doug Bell. Valerie moved to Young County with her parents in 1980 from Happy, Texas.

Alvin Dale “Bo” Mahler

Bo Mahler left his earthly home on Aug. 17, 2021. He was born Dec. 28, 1950, to Earl “Sid” and Louise (Compton) Mahler in Graham, TX. Graveside service to be held Oct. 23, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at the Loving Cemetery at 4917 TX-16 Loving, TX 76460.

Bo lived a colorful and eventful life starting in Graham but traveling the world. He went wherever the spirit took him but never forgot his Texas roots. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and a friend to all.

Robert Leon McKee

Robert Leon McKee, 75, passed away peacefully Oct. 11, 2021. Robert was born Jan. 22, 1946, in Mineral Wells, Texas to L.C. and Josephine (Nowak) McKee. He married Alena Ondrieck in April of 1980. After graduating from Graford High School, Robert went into the oil and gas industry, and then was elected Constable in 1994, where he served 16 years as a peace officer before retiring. Any free time, you could find him on the river fishing or in a field hunting with his family.

William Crews McCulloch

William Crews McCulloch, 90, a resident of Albuquerque, NM since 2014, ran into the loving arms of Jesus on Sept. 18, 2021. He was born into humble beginnings near Hayti, Missouri, the second of five children born to Silas and Edith (Hutson) McCulloch. Growing up on a cotton farm taught him many things including the ingenuity to fix anything with baling wire and duct tape. This early experience prepared him well for a life long love of tinkering and creating his many inventions.

Teresa Oliver Lawson

Teresa Oliver Lawson, 58, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2021 in Graham. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021, at the Faith Lutheran Church, 1618 380 Bypass, Graham. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 11, 2021, in the Tabernacle at Gooseneck Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Sue Katherine Carter

Sue Katherine Carter, 87, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021, in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021, at 11 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Sue was born Jan. 21, 1934, in Odem to the late Floyd and Della Belle (Phillips) Harmon. She married Harold Thompson Carter June 20, 1954 in Goodlett and he preceded her in death Aug. 15, 2011. Sue was a 55 year member of First Baptist Church where she loved her Sunday School Class and Choir.
