Reba Gittings

Reba Gittings, 89, of Burleson, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022 in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held at Morrison Funeral Home in Graham at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022 with interment to follow at Pioneer Cemetery, Graham with Pastor Dawayne Barnett of Graham Church of God officiating.

Georgia Hellen Shook

Georgia Hellen Shook, 79, passed away on June 3, 2022, in Graham. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 7 at 11 a.m. at Christian Hope Church in Newcastle. Interment followed in Newcastle Cemetery. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Monday evening at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home.

Georgia was born April 13, 1943, in Olney to the late James Clifton and Annie Lue Shipman Anderson. She married Clyde Shook on Aug. 3, 1991. She will be dearly missed by family, friends, and all who knew her.

Mary Frances Painter

 Mrs. Mary Frances Painter, 92, widow of the late Clarence “Sonny” Painter, Jr. passed away peacefully on Sunday Morning, May 29, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness.  

Born in Dallas on May 20, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Maxwell and Carrie Sue Cameron House. She was a homemaker and had accomplished many things during her long lifetime.  

Mary Jane Byerly

Mary Jane Byerly, 90, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at her family home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Medlan Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Corey Daniel Squibb

Corey Daniel Squibb, 43, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022 at his home in Graham.  Graveside service will be held Friday, May 27, 2022 at 11 a.m. in Tonk Valley Cemetery.

Corey was born Nov. 4, 1978 in Olney to Adabel Lee (Casteel) Silva and Darwin Daune Squibb. He was a remodeler and plumber.

Everett Glenn Weatherbee

Everett Glenn Weatherbee was born in Graham, Texas on Aug. 29, 1951 to his parents MK Weatherbee from Newcastle and Florence Athlene Liverman Weatherbee from Virginia. He grew up on Hillcrest Street and loved the five-kid family that was always filled with home cooking and love. His dad put the first hammer in his hands and put him to work.
