Steve Oliver, 64, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020 in Graham. Funeral will be Friday, May 8 at 2 p.m. in Country Road Fellowship Church. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Wendell B. Harrison of Graham passed away May 6, 2020 at the age of 93. He was reunited with his beloved wife of 60 years, Juanita Briggs Harrison. A graveside service was held at Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of McMillan-Satterwhiite Funeral Home.
On Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at the age of 92, heaven gained an angel, Joan Swaney. God better be ready though, because as sweet as she was, she also had a sassy, feisty side that we all loved.
Connie Marie Little passed away May 5, 2020 in Graham. A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 7 at the Newcastle, Texas Cemetery under the direction of McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home.
She was born Nov. 29, 1943 in Olney to John D. and Doris Lucille (Leary) Mitchell and lived in Newcastle most of her life. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Newcastle.
Doris Faye Fellows passed away May 3, 2020 in Graham. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 5 at Pioneer Cemetery in Graham under the direction of McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home.
Doris was born April 28, 1936 in Paducah to O.D. “Pete” and June (Clements) Leach. She was a long-time member of Hudson Presbyterian Chapel. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Cap Fellows, a son Johnny Fellows, a granddaughter, Libby Fellows and by a sister, Florene Crawford.
Marvin Dwayne Osborn, 55, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020 in Graham. Private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with Morrison Funeral Home.
Dwayne was born Aug. 28, 1964 in Breckenridge to Barbara Ann (Boyd) Hibbitts and Orvil Wayne Osborn. He worked in the oilfield.
Survivors include: daughter, Sarah Osborn of Graham; son, Michael Osborn of Denton; sister, Patricia Braddock and husband, Mike of Graham; brother, Gary Osborn and wife Beth of Wichita Falls.
Joe Lake was born in Graham on Aug. 5, 1941, and he went to be with Lord on April 28. Interment will be in Cottonwood Cemetery in Bryson and a Celebration of Life service for Joe will be announced at a later date.
Joe was the last cowboy remaining from the 1963 Bryson cattle drive from Bryson to Breckenridge.
John Russell Caudill, 81, died on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 in Plano. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 1 at 2 p.m. at Pioneer Cemetery, under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Murry Cicero Mattox, Jr, 76, of Lubbock passed away Monday, April 27, 2020. Murry was born Nov. 27, 1943 in Laredo to Murry and Bessie (Mobley) Mattox, Sr. The family moved to Graham when he was a child where he graduated from Graham High School and went on to attend Texas Tech University. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, as well as dabbling in photography. He worked as a permit agent in the oil field. Murry married Jane Morton on Aug. 29, 1964. He was a member of the Methodist church.
Sylvia Jean Roberts, 78, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2020. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Jean was born Aug. 27, 1941 in Post Oak to the late Sadie Lois (Sword) Johnson and Clinton Ray Johnson. She married James Roberts, May 4, 1991 in Graham. She was longtime resident of Graham and a homemaker.
Survivors include; husband, James Roberts of Graham; sister, Bonnie Thetford and husband Pete of Phoenix Ariz.; several nieces and nephews also survive.
