John J. Salazar

John J. Salazar passed away March 21, 2019 in Olney, Texas. A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 24 at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home. Interment followed at the Newcastle Cemetery.

Mr. Salazar was born Jan. 9, 1939 in Roscoe, and had lived in Lubbock, Breckenridge and Olney. He was a retired welder.

Julie Lynn Snow

Julie Lynn Snow, 59, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019 in Plano. Funeral was held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 25 in the Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in True Cemetery in Young County. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Julie was born Dec. 5, 1959 in Graham. She married Danny Snow, Feb. 14, 1981 in Graham. Julie was a resident of Wichita Falls and the former manager of Archer City Country Club.

Frances Brewer

Frances Brewer, 92, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019 in Graham. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 25 in the Eastside Church of Christ. Burial followed in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Frances was born April 15, 1926 in Comanche County to the late George M. and Fannie (Grey) Scott. She married W.L. “Shorty” Brewer April 4, 1944 in DeLeon and he preceded her in death Jan. 30, 2001.

Patsy Boyle

Patsy Boyle, 86, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in Wichita Falls. Funeral was 2 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Morrison Funeral Home. Burial followed in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Patsy was born Jan. 10, 1933 in Amarillo, Texas to the late Marshall Lee and Garnett Mabel (Ramsey) Carter. She was a longtime resident of Graham and was a retired employee of Graham General Hospital working in food preparation. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Graham.

Brandon Pless Davis

Brandon Pless Davis passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019 in Stephens County. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home with interment following at Medlan Chapel Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Brandon was born May 23, 1988 in Graham and lived in Graham and Breckenridge most of his life. He was tattoo artist. He was preceded in death by a son, Bryler David Davis, a sister, Joy Beckett and by his grandmother, Lois Davis.

Joanie Shepherd

Joanie Shepherd, 82, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019 in Graham. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Loving Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

James Donald Robbins, Sr.

James Donald Robbins, Sr. was born Oct. 11, 1933 in Newcastle and passed away on Feb. 26, 2019 in Mineral Wells. His parents were Walter and Zilpha Robbins.

Survivors include sons James Donald Robbins Jr and Joe Dean Robbins, Sr and grandson Joe Dean Robbins Jr.; his brother Dewey Robbins; step daughter Ellen Nickols and husband Richard; grand-daughter JoEllen Nickols Betterton and husband Scott; five great grandchildren-Ryan, Hunter, Levi, Brynlie, and Tiffanee, and a host of “adopted grandchildren”.

Kenneth Carrol Ford

Kenneth Carrol Ford, known as “Coach” to many, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 9, 2019. Visitation will be Saturday, March 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home. Services will be held Sunday, March 17 at 2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel followed by interment at Pioneer Cemetery in Graham.

Bill McKelvie

A Celebration of Life for Bill McKelvie of Newcastle will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Fort Belknap.

William Dean “Bill” McKelvie was born on July 8, 1939 in Pennsylvania.

He passed in to the next life on March 8 in Newcastle after a long, hard fought battle with cancer.

Bill was blessed by many people but he had two special angels on earth. Roslyn Fowler and Jeff French are the model of what friendship truly is.

Dorothy Virginia O’Mary

Dorothy Virginia O’Mary passed away on March 8, 2019 in Graham. A Graveside service will be held at the South Bend Cemetery, in South Bend on March 12 at 2 p.m. McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home are in charge of the arrangements.

Virginia was born on May 1, 1923 in McWhorter, West Virginia, to the late Mr. Columbus B. Walker and the late Mrs. Catherine Walker. She was a long time resident of South Bend.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Dale Walker of South Bend and Allen Walker of Breckenridge.
