Nellie Mae (Dunlap) Redick

Nellie Mae (Dunlap) Redick, 58, of Ottawa, Kan. passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018, at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center.

Memorial will be held at Grace Chapel Church in Graham at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 with a dinner afterwards.

Nellie was born July 28, 1960 in Graham to the daughter of Robert Lee and Sally Mae (Rhodes) Dunlap.

She grew up in Graham, moving in 1997 to Bryson. In 2014, she moved to Ottawa where she made her home until death.

Brian Clifton

Brian Clifton, age 61, of Lubbock passed away Jan. 15 in Lubbock. Grave site services will be held at True Cemetery Saturday, Feb. 16 at 2 p.m.

He was born in Olney on Nov. 23, 1957 to Louise and the late Wendell Clifton. He graduated from Newcastle High School in 1976 and attended Cisco junior college and Texas Tech University. He worked as an electrician and most recently as regional sales manager for Intec Corp. in Montana.

Ophelia Willis

Ophelia Willis, 104, passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2019 in Oklahoma. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with her grandson officiating. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. 

Ophelia was born Jan. 23, 1915 in Lucille to the late Willie Henry and Mary Elvie (Nicklas) Reeves. She married Edward Glen Willis, Aug. 28, 1938 in Graham. He preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 2011.  Ophelia was a longtime resident of Graham before moving to Drummond, Okla. to be with her grandchildren.

Nancye Jane May

Nancye Jane May of Granbury passed away on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019 at the age of 83. Nancye, the youngest of nine, was born on Jan. 19, 1936, in Slaton to Braxton Barto Jones and his wife Nellie Mae. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be greatly missed. She loved the Lord and was a member of the Way Church. Nancye also loved politics and was an active member of the Republican Party and was never apt to shy away from a political conversation.

Magrit Kopietz Jones

Magrit Kopietz Jones, 82, passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2019 in Graham. Funeral service was Monday, Feb. 4 at 2 p.m. in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Burial followed Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Kenedy Cemetery in Kenedy. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Betty Joyce Amburn

Betty Joyce Amburn passed away Feb. 2, 2019 in Graham. A graveside service was held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5 at Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home.

Betty was born June 19, 1932 in Graham and had lived in Jacksboro and Graham. She was a member the First Presbyterian Church in Graham. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, John W. “Dub” Amburn.

Richard Lee Rogers

Richard Lee Rogers, age 77 of Breckenridge, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2019. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 1 at First United Methodist Church with Matt Hall officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 31 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Chapel of Memories at Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.

Richard Lee Rogers was born Jan. 17, 1942 in Breckenridge to Ray and Joy Rogers. He married his loving Sandra Blackburn April 8, 1966 in Breckenridge. He had the privilege of being on the Breckenridge 1958 State Football Championship Team.

Jack W. Connell, Jr.

Jack W. Connell, Jr., 81, of Burkburnett passed from this life on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019.  

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 4 at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home. A visitation will be from 4 – 6 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 3 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Hampton Vaughan Crestview Memorial Park.
