Fields of Faith Graham update 2016
We were blessed with an attendance estimated at approximately 1,800 last night (Wednesday, Oct. 12) at Newton Field in Graham for the eighth annual Fields of Faith. Over 137 students make decisions for God from Olney, Jacksboro, Graham, Newcastle, Bryson, Breckenridge and Throckmorton, with 75 first-time salvation decisions for Christ. The student speakers this year did an outstanding job with Morgan Montgomery, opening prayer, Olney High School; Paxton Whitaker, Old Testament challenge, Bryson HS; Aiden Sims, New Testament challenge, Perrin HS, and Will Walton, Testimony, Graham HS, as well as Chad Mitchell of Abilene with the speaker challenge, Randy Wood with the worship band from Weatherford, and Coach Robert Sides of Graham, emcee. I would also like to say a special thank you to FCA, Graham FOF leadership team, encouragers, ushers, data entry, Graham Police, Young County Sheriff’s Office, Graham Fire Department, and support teams from the Graham church community for helping make Fields of Faith Graham 2016 a safe place for students to come, worship and respond to God through the student speaker’s challenges. It gave me great encouragement and hope to see students respond to God when given the opportunity after being challenged by their student peers Sincerely, Jimmy Guinn Big Country FCA East board member
