Data center? No data center?

Whatever your opinion on this or any other project, such as a highway or pipeline in and around Young County, let’s not lose sight of the more important issue.

After this issue has been decided, we are still neighbors.

We see each other at church, the grocery store, gas stations and restaurants around town.

We all want what’s best for Graham and Young County now and in the future.

Whatever our differences on any issue, let’s respect each other and not become what’s now referred to as haters.

Calling for someone to “get back on the sniper stand,” slamming drive thru windows, doors, showing disdain through words or actions over differences is not what we need.

Do we really want to drive people out of town, or kill them?

How about we all take a deep breath, hit the reset button, or whatever it takes to tone it down.

Words do matter. Someone may be on the brink of doing something that we all would regret.

Let’s try to live together and get through this and whatever the world throws at us.
