Lady Blues victorious in Clyde rematch

The Lady Blues picked up their eighth win in a row Tuesday night with a 3-0 rematch victory over Clyde at home. The Lady Blues defeated the Lady Hounds 25-9, 25-21, 25-15 to remain undefeated at home this season.

The Lady Blues were off to a fast start by scoring seven of the first ten points to open the match.  Three different Lady Blues earned kills in the stretch. Aubrey Iles and Morgan Patterson each picked up aces.

The visiting Lady Hounds were never in contention during the opening set. By 10-3 Lady Blues had already outscored what the Lady Hounds could muster. The Lady Blues took advantage of several miscues from their visitors, getting awarded eight points in the middle stages of the set that pushed the score to 18-5. The final three points of the set were scored via out of bounds hits by the Lady Hounds.
