Bobcats fall to Knox City

NEWCASTLE - It’s been said before that speed kills, and Friday afternoon saw Newcastle fall victim to plenty of it. Knox City’s Greyhounds used a balanced scoring attack along with a fast-paced offense to overwhelm the Bobcats and win 77-34. Tuesday night was to bring the visit of Aspermont to Newcastle High School. Early in the first quarter, the Bobcats struggled to get a rhythm against the Greyhounds, down 9-2 at the 4:45 mark.
